ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Marius, Cambridge UK based internationally renowned artist, with a vast portfolio, brings a positive impact using techniques and materials (allways recycled where possible) from a very large spectrum through his broad understanding and specialised knowledge that in his transformative process of creation transcend their initial purpose becoming part of the new, pertinent and powerful concept.

The clay is his core media to embody the transformative process in his creations, as is the only natural material known in human history that incorporates all vital life elements: clay(EARTH) that needs to be modelled  (LOVE) while wet (WATER) stays to dry (AIR) to gain the eternal life through FIRE.

Growing up in his father's artistic milieu, he met Salvador Dali and other leading artists and personalities from around the world, who inspired his journey in a very personal way.

Marius was raised in his father's studio, the renowned Romanian folk artist Nicolae Diaconu. He took his fathers craft to the next level, just as Mozart did with his father's music.
